IMPACT
The ECU Health IMPACT Clinic is the first clinic of its kind in eastern North Carolina to offer both pregnancy care and addiction treatment in one place. The clinic opened in May 2025 in Greenville and is led by Dr. David H. Ryan. Here, patients can receive support such as social work services, lactation help, mental health care, and other important resources. The clinic’s mission is to reduce the harm caused by substance use in our region and to support healthier pregnancies, births, and postpartum experiences. Our goal is to improve outcomes for mothers, babies, families, and communities.
